We're proud of our PCOC. The website of the Pacific Coast Origami Conference, aka PCOC, is now up and the on-line registration is running smoothly: see http://www.pcoc2007.com. The registration forms have been mailed out to all members in hopes that folders from near and far will attend this event. As of October 1 there are over 137 people registered. There is a very good feeling within the committee about how things are coming together. Come shake a tail feather and sign up for PCOC today!
Copyright Permission Please. The Copyright Committee has gotten legal opinions from an expert copyright lawyer on matters of copyright permission that are fairly different from the policy we've used in the past. We have put together two documents -- a new permission form and an extended FAQ version with supporting legal reasoning. The new permission form is on the website and we have made announcements on the various mailing lists. You can find the permission form at http://www.origami-usa.org/submissions.
