Folders Come Together. Fall and Spring Special Sessions are being organized. Fall sessions will be Oct. 21, Dec. 9, and Jan. 13. Spring sessions will be held on Mar. 2, Apr. 6, and May 4. If anyone would like to teach they should contact Maria or MaryAnn at specsess@yahoo.com
Sharing the Joy. Library Committee Chair, Ros Joyce reported the generous donation of books from Kayoko Descloux. These books will be added to both our permanent and lending library. The membership thanks you!
Planning For a Bright Future. Our President Tony Cheng, recommended a future Board Retreat. He proposed 3 topics for discussion: Challenges in running a volunteer organization, Where would the organization like to be in 5-10 years, and the plan and future of The Source. Tony also reported the need for a Procedure Committee and he is willing to he chair. The committee head will meet with other heads to formulate policy documents and timelines for all projects, including OBC, Convention and Publications.
