World Origami Day committee has been formed to work towards a larger celebration in 2007.
Mingei International Museum (California) will be having an origami exhibit scheduled for February, 2007. OrigamiUSA is in discussions with the Museum to develop program support for this exhibit.
National Arts Club (New York) has presented OrigamiUSA with a Citation of Merit for its work in supporting and spreading origami. Marc Kirschenbaum presented his work at a special event at the National Arts Club, December 7.
