Conventions

Go here for a description of the various conventions put on by OrigamiUSA. We sponsor an annual convention every year in New York City (typically the last full weekend in June), which is the largest origami convention in the world! We also sponsor smaller regional and special-interest conventions. This section of the site contains information about current and upcoming conventions and galleries of photographs from past conventions.

Special Folding Sessions

Go here for information about our Special Folding Fun Sessions, which are a fund-raising event for OrigamiUSA. All classes are taught by volunteers. Classes are available on the simple, intermediate and complex levels and are held at the American Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 81st Street, New York City. You'll find further details, class descriptions, and (when sessions are upcoming) registration information.

Origami Holiday Tree

Go here for information and galleries about the Holiday Tree. Every year OrigamiUSA partners with the American Museum of Natural History to produce the Museum's annual Holiday Tree, each year with a special theme linked to the Museum's exhibits. This tree has become a holiday tradition in New York City and is featured in various media world wide.

Origami by Children

Go here for information on the Origami by Children exhibition. For more than two decades, OrigamiUSA has sponsored this exhibition of outstanding origami by folders under the age of 18. In this section you'll find information about entering the exhibition and galleries of past exhibitions.

World Origami Days
